I have tried many foams and some mousses. None of them were right for my wavy baby fine Caucasian hair, except this one. I only regret that it took me so long to try it. The fragrance is really nice, very subtle and fresh. I'm not looking any longer for the right foam 'cause I found it.

I have tried so many mousses and foams and none of them worked for me. They either felt too producty feeling dirty in my hair to stiff and stringy, or no hold or effect at all. This one is wonderful and I think it's the only mousse out there that has flax in it. It has a very subtle natural fragrance and I get shine from it. Also, no petroleum products in it! Very happy with this.

Absolutely love this mouse. It’s not sticky like others and it leaves no build up. It gives great hold. I use it for my braid ou and twist out styles. I also love using it on my curly ends to prevent frizz, and for slick ponytails. I have even used this at my roots from a retwist. Must have !!!

This mousse is great for maintaining loc styles longer. A little trick I learned is to add some mousse when retwisting with the pomade for a longer hold. Like the rest of PR's products, this mousse doesn't contain harsh chemicals, works, and smells good. I also have a subscription on this item so I never run out.

You already know how much I absolutely love the Flaxseed mousse. I use it for my retwist with the pomade and I also use it to twist or braid my locs for a curl style. The hold is phenomenal. I noticed something a little different this time. Yes it has a tad bit more of a wonderful scent and I love it. Tara got us wanting to snack on the non-edible stuff n ting, but we all know that's a no no. I gotta buy 2 at a time just to be sure I don't run out. As soon as I open the second bottle, that's my que to order the next 2. Girl, you betta rin and get yours because it runs out quick fast and in a hurry.

Do you see these curls? They are courtesy of Peculiar Roots' mousse. I can keep these curls for almost 2 weeks because of the hold.
