This product is awesome and smells really good!! My hair is soft and smell great!

The best product I have ever used. Already...I see my build-up leaving (who would have thought to brush locs), my locs look healthy. I am really surprised....and that pomade?.....oooooo weee! It's been a week and my edges are still laying down. I am impressed and very satisfied!!

This pic shows how frizzy my hair has become. This was 3 weeks after getting it tightened. Always was told to use other products. Peculiar roots I was skeptical that it would work for my hair however, my hair smells soooo much better, my dreads are soft easy to work with, and my frizz has gone done tremendously! Peculiar roots from here on out will be my new go to for my hair! Your products have worked wonders for my hair!

I'm so excited to use these products. They were beautifully wrapped & I appreciate the free gifts that were included. Only downside is that it was produced in China. I was so surprised when I read the label. I thought I was supporting a local black owned business in the US not buying more stuff from China. I won't knock the product tho until I try it.

I love these products. My hair is super soft after using the detox shampoo and conditioner (that smells like cake). And the hair serum is the one! I have noticed some hair growth in spots that were once thin. I am a believer.

Received my first loc box this week, fast shipping which is a plus during this pandemic. washed and twisted the same day. The ACV suds wonderfully, i also washed with the charcoal which suds up well too.My hair feels clean but not dry. The pomade is very light, but it doesn't take much. My retwist held with no heat or clips. The loc towel is awesome however, I did find small pieces of the fabric in my hair. The brush included in the box is ok, the bristles kept falling out of mine. I love the scent of the refresher and the oil. Overall, so far I love the products and will probably order again

I just received all my items a few days ago so I have yet to use them. But customer service was amazing. And they shipped really quickly. They also smell so fresh and clean no crazy smell. Which is a big deal for me because i have allergies. I’m excited to put them to use.

I love the the charcoal shampoo and conditioner. The pomade is great it doesn't leave any build up. The mousse is perfect for when I curl my locs.

I love the pomade! It holds great and isn’t greasy or oily. The mousse is great too! I didn’t have to apply heat out wear rollers forever to get nice curls that lasted all day. I use the refresher spray, oil, and serum daily. Again, my hair is moisturized but not greasy or oily. I love this box!

I love the way it made my hair feel. It was so clean and smell is amazing. The foam, shampoo, oil, conditioner everything smells wonderful. Have to make the entire collection part of my collection!

What I like about this product as a whole is that it allows me to try everything for an affordable cost. Aside from that the only things that I really liked in this product where the shampoos and conditioners. The lock refresher I didn’t like because it always left my hair feeling sort of dry which is kind of weird. I also don’t like this right now so that comes with it because it’s a very precise directions spray and it’s not really a mess until I get more product that I need on my likes and that could’ve been the issue took that but I’m not a fan of that. The one thing that I didn’t like was the mousse and the pomade does not hold well enough for me. It holds for a day or so and then my hair looks like it hasn’t been done in about a month and I don’t like that. I don’t have a problem with frizzy locs but in my profession I can’t walk around with my head like though so I need to keep it as maintained and as neat as possible for as long as possible so these don’t work for me. Also I cannot lay my baby hairs without pomade or any other kind of mousse or gel so I didn’t really get to use the brush and I probably never will. I do like the towel it helps keep my heavy wet hair off of my neck when I get out of the tub so that’s good. I think all in all I’ll purchase some products individually which I believe was the point of the packaging which was to allow you to sample everything so I’ll be purchasing the shampoo not the bottle go but the bar the bar was probably the better experience but didn’t come in this package that was the best thing that I’ve used from them and the conditioner as well

Love it! I love the sud of the bar and how clean my hair feels. No judgements but i almost licked the charcol conditioner cause it smelt so good!!! Next up, aloe gel..love me some aloe!

I used every product the same day I received! My hair has never been softer and smells so good. I usually have an itchy scalp immediately after washing. Not with peculiar roots. This is day 2 and no itch! I was worried about flakes withe mousse, but thankfully that is not a problem with this product. I’m in love !

I’ve been locked for a year now and haven’t found any products that satisfies me or work with my hair. These products are amazing! I love the Loc pomade, it actually holds my hair unlike the other products I’ve used! I’m so glad I took a chance, these products are worth every Penny!!

It smells so good and my hair is extra soft. The loc towel is absolutely wonderful for wash day or to lock in the oil. The mist is my favorite, I would like to try them all. I just need the sprayer bcz the one that it came with squirts out instead of spraying. But overall fantastic products!!!

After using these products, I noticed how really clean my locs felt. I also noticed the change in the texture of my hair. It had become softer. Usually when I use other shampoos, I would have to actually rip my hair apart, to separate my braids! But, it was so soft and just separated easily. The smell was a bonus. The acv shampoo removed all my build up coupled with the charcoal shampoo and conditioner. I am ashamed to say I havent used conditioner on my hair since I started my locs 3 years ago because I dont like the build up it caused .. PR conditioner is lightweight I dont consider it a cream (it maybe though just black lol) . The pomade doesnt leave residue and makes my baby hairs super soft love it. The refresher spray smells great, and gives my hair a beautiful sheen.

For one I ordered my Peculiar Roots products and in uhmmm 2 maybe 3 days I had them ALL in my hands!!! I am ready to ORDER again just so I can have it right there in arms reach BUT I will hold on and wait a fews...NOW that right there should tell you how GOOD these products are!!! Starting with the AVC Shampoo and moving to the Clarifying & Detox Shampoo and Conditioner (which I LOVE oh so much) and I can tell my LOCs was cleansed seriously. Then I hit my LOCs off with some Refresher Spray and then that amazing OIL (Both smell oh so good andddd BOTH feel great on my scalp). Lastly I went on head and retwisted my LOCs with that good lightweight no sticking LOCs Pomade (my goodness that some good stuff right there) and went to bed. So the next day I had a photo shoot and I used the refresher spray again and some of that amazing OIL and when I tell you I am soooo satisfied I am SAT-IS-FIED!!! I also used the mousse to help with styling. I will be telling my family about Peculiar Roots and their products. I am very pleased!!! THANK YOU ☺️
