I was initially very impressed with the loc gel, but it didn't hold beyond the second day. It's great for edges, so I will use it for that, but don't think it's strong enough for my retwisting needs.

This product is the best for sticking and holding down your hair and those edges I have 4C hair. it smells amazing and there were no flakes or white residue. This is not like other gels were they melt and your hair & edges start to lift after 30 mins. This product lasted 2 days before I need to apply it again . I bought another one to have in stock because I know this will sale out.

This is the bomb loc gel! The smell is lovely. It has a firm hold and not sticky. I like that is flake free and leaves no residue. I have fallen in love with the pomadesIt keeps my locks and re-twist together and when I do different hairstyles the way they handled as far as being moved around as I’m getting a style is amazing it doesn’t make the twist the re-twist fall apart or anything and to be perfectly honest it’s so moisturizing and it smells amazing I would recommend this for any person that is locked this is the best comment I’ve had ever since I started this journey and I don’t intend on using any other pomade

I have been using this product since last year 2020 and I absolutely love it! The reason for the 3-stars is because when I received my Papaya pomade, I opened to smell it and it had black mold growth on it. I called the company immediately and they gave their explanation and offered to send a new one out. For my original order, I paid for FedEx 2 day shipping but they sent the replacement through USPS and it took another week to receive (we all know how USPS function). Needless to say, I thought I would receive a coupon, refund, some kind of incentive due to sending out a molded product but no incentives. Lastly, check your products when they arrive people!

I have been using this loc pomade on my sons hair for the last 2 years and I havent had any issues with it until recently. The new batches has been leaving residue in his hair that i have to scrape out after it dries. This has happened with mango and papaya. Im not sure what has changed but I had better experiences with the older pomades.

I bought this product based on a YouTuber that I have followed for years. I’ve long waited for an edge control type product that would lay my straightened hair flat instead of reverting it. This product is amazing. It spreads easily but not all over the place. It has just enough water in it to not build up. It works on my hair even when it’s been straightened for
two weeks or more, and if I use it for a few days in a row, it doesn’t build up. I don’t have to use water to get it to work. My hair has no chemicals, and I only flat iron it. The attached picture is week and a half old hair. Just amazing.

Product is great. I think my hair is too soft and I’ll have to use a tool to tighten my locs rather than twisting. It didn’t hold my twist but that’s not the fault of the product. Just my very soft and fine hair.
